Mirasole & Montalbano

The company is composed by two neighbouring farms, Mirasole and Montalbano.

The business was started by the grandfather in 1947, and now it is run by the second and third generation. In fact the father, Giovanni, coordinates the activity together with his 2 sons, the first in charge of the crops,  and the second in charge of the milk production, and the daughter.

In 2002 the farm has been starting to sell directly the fresh products in the own shop, where visitors can taste the quality of the production.

In 2002 the milk production has been awarded of the quality certification CSQA.

The company employs 7 people, including the family.

It is located 10 km South of Milano, in a small town named Opera.

Montalbano is specialized in rice crop, while Mirasole in milk production.
